Blind Donkey?

I want to start my Blog by explaining why its called Blind Donkey. For many years I have read and practised Zen . I especialy enjoy reading about Ikkyu Sojun (1394-1481) who was called Crazy Cloud. One of his Masters Lin-Chi , a fearsome and Aggresive teacher was concerned that his teachings would be transmitted by Blind Donkeys. Ikkyu called his hermitage Katsuro-an " Blind Donkey Hut". My garden shed my own little hermitage is called the Blind Donkey Shed. I will not bore u any further!
